The best thing about my stay was that the room was clean and fresh and exactly what I wanted

The "Gym" was lacking and the pool was a glorified wading pool.

    Fabulous

Food and staff were excellent at the Bistro, and location was good.

Water pressure was poor in shower and had trouble getting cold water in shower.

Liked the design of the suite and the view. Had everything you could possibly want in a suite.

We love the location the best but all amenities are great.

Ability to self cater and launder clothes

It was expensive buttons into robot were at a premium due to the Grey Cup

    Very good

Good location, comfortable bed, could open the window for fresh air.

Very poorly deisigned bathroom for the female traveller; no make up mirror, no hair dryer, shelves for an efficiency unit would be too high for most women, lighting inadequate for the application of make-up. The breakfast buffet hot table did not heat the food very well. The hotel does not appear to indicate that its entrance is on Melinda, one block south of King.

I love the friendliness of the staff and I also liked the feeling that I felt as soon as I walked in the room, comfortable, safe, and relaxing.

The hotel is ancient, I would not call it a 2 star hotel. The front desk was rude, the bartender at a slow bar, was unattentive. The hotel room was dirty, some sort of blood on the bathroom wall. The hotel was freezing, the room would not heat up, the elevators felt like they would stop any minute, crappy little restaurant and bar. Need I say more.

    Good

Room was very clean, staff were efficient, location very good.

No kettle in the room, only a coffee percolater. Only one tea bag and one sachet of dried milk left each day. No mini bar despite being a suite. Bathroom products were not refreshed daily.

    Superb

it is a wonderful hotel and I highly recommended to every one. A reception staff called SAUDI was very helpful and on behalf of whole group I thank him very much for her cooperation and help.

    Location

Took a long time to check in - due to only 2 people on Front Desk. Air Conditioning unit in room was very noisy and woke me up at times. I was not directed to the correct elevator bank - at first and the elevators took a long time - and then turned out to be for the Residence - no the hotel.

    Fabulous

Left my electric toothbrush in room. Called same day 12 hours later. It was not logged in. Have to go to a website to log in on I left my stuff. Really lacking customer service on this one. I have left my fav shampoo, shoes on separate occasions at the Intercontinental on Front. Each time items have been returned to me. Who would want a toothbrush? In a case with mom on it.

Nice room with separate bath. Spacious room. Clean. Nice food prep area. Very close to the Downtown core.

No shelf space in bathroom. Noisy when on a low floor on Younge street. As a woman traveling I don’t like the twists and turns of the corridors on each floor to get to my room. Can see around each corner. I feel vulnerable. Lack of security.

    Superb

The location is perfect and it offers a spacious room, fantastic view of the city and a comfortable bed. It is great to have a washing machine for workout clothes if you are staying a few days.

  • 7.4
    Very good

Location is convenient for business meeings.

On my first night I ordered a salad and wine through room service and the order did not arrive. After 1 hour and 15 minutes, I called to cancel the order but room service had no record of the order! No apology or attempt to make it right. Obviously, I made no attempt to give them another chance.
